There is a psychological toll of living with the multiple crises that are wreaking havoc in our lives and in our world. The overriding threats of climate change along with associated crises such as Covid-19, economic upheaval, and many injustices can cause untold anxieties, chronic stress, and depression.

Hallie is a therapist certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and a Positive Psychology educator certified with Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar (former professor at Harvard). She has been a speaker on Resilence and Positive Psychology topics for several years and has provided integrative wellness training and services for individuals and various groups. She has written and published articles on stress reduction, trauma, mindfulness, and positive psychology and she authored a book about mind-body techniques to feel better all the time.

Hallie is a certified Climate Reality Leader, having completed former Vice President Al Gore's Global Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training on July 26, 2020. As a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps Hallie is committed to educating the public about the global climate emergency including the latest science and facts, and the solutions. Learning about climate change and learning about its dire effects, while upsetting, is absolutely essential to help bring about solutions. Hallie delivers climate presentations promoting awareness and climate action while also addressing the need for her audiences to do practices to maintain mental health. Paramount in Hallie's climate reality presentations is steering people to cultivate coping skills in order to build resilience and maintain equilibrium in order to help temper climate anxieties. Additionally Hallie's presentations focus on the positive goal of a realistically good future.
